               PREREQUISITES:

               Cell Phones and Laptop Computers: Unless otherwise instructed, cell phones are to be silenced
               and laptops will not be used during class periods without permission or medical reasons. Only in
               the event of an emergency, texting during class periods is prohibited and violators will be asked to
               leave and docked absent for time missed during dismissal.

               COURSE DESCRIPTION:

               This course is designed to enable learners to understand and apply some of the concepts, methods
               and skills required for effective consulting with organizations as described in the text and relevant
               periodicals, to real life situations. Learners will be exposed to field experiences, which will assist in
               the development of their practitioner skills. Their knowledge and skills will be further enhanced
               through  critical analysis in class, in-group discussions and through instructive conversation,
               simulations, and role-play with the Instructor and class facilitators. The course material is relevant
               to both internal and external consultants
