AQMA Feasibility Assessment
A2 – Keycol Hill and Key Street, Swale
3.19 Furthermore, additional diffusion tubes have been introduced on Key Street
and Keycol Hill, offering a better insight into air quality adjacent to these roads.
The data shows AQS exceedances at SW124 (31/33 Keycol Hill) and SW121 (the
façade of Squirrel Cottage). Results from SW122 and SW123 (the diffusion
tubes at 12 and 13 Key Street) have shown concentrations to be well below the
annual mean AQS.
3.20 The only other exceedance recorded in 2019 was at the roadside location
SW113 (Squirrel Cottage), with annual mean concentrations recorded at 86%
above the AQS. SW111 fell below the AQS by 4.5%, meaning no exceedances
were recorded across Key Street in 2019.
