WHAT YOU MUST DO
1. Follow the training you have received when using any work items your employer has given you.
2. Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s health and safety.
3. Co-operate with your employer on health and safety.
4. Tell someone (your employer, supervisor, or health and safety representative) if you think the work or inadequate
precautions, are putting anyone’s health and safety at serious risk.
IF THERE IS A PROBLEM
1. If you are worried about health and safety in your workplace, talk to your employer, supervisor, or health and
safety representative.
2. If, after talking with your employer, you are still worried, you can find the address of your local enforcing
authority for health and safety and the Employment Medical Advisory Service via HSE’s website:
www.hse.gov.uk or contact TLC’s Head of compliance.
EQUALITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
Respecting diversity is vital to our success and our reputation. It is a mark of our humanity and is crucial to our TLC culture.
TLC is fully committed to treating all of its learners and employers fairly and has a zero tolerance policy towards any form
of prejudice, direct and indirect discrimination.
Regardless of race, disability, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, nationality, ethnic origin or social
class, we are committed to helping all individuals reach their full potential.
TLC has also made a commitment to ensure that all our learners are given the same opportunities to learn and realise
their potential. We understand the difference between equality, diversity and inclusion, so we ensure that all learners are
offered the same learning opportunities, whilst maintaining each learner’s right to be treated as an individual.
We are proud that our people reflect the communities we serve and encourage them to share their opinions and respect
each other’s views.
The TLC team will endeavour to be as flexible as possible when trying to meet your needs, and to eliminate all forms of
discrimination and promote equality of opportunity.
If you have any queries relating to diversity or feel that you have been treated unfairly in any way do not hesitate to
contact our Head of Compliance.
