Ask the children what phrases they usually "hear" from their imps. "Great! You can also draw your Imp of Fear and then dress him up with a
Ask them to present the imp's phrase and gestures. You may play a guessing game: the child funny outfit or give him a funny face. *

I recommend letting the children share and identify the inner voices and phrases used by There are even more ways. You could clench all your muscles as hard as you

or by creating a personal imp for each participant. The teacher, therapist or facilitator may go
around the children and place the imp on each child's shoulder in turn, and the child will say in a place where you feel comfortable and safe, like the beach, a certain

Did you know that you can tame many more imps? Almost any tamed imp can turn into a Fear often comes from our imagination, but it comes uninvited. You can

          2. Arts and Crafts Activity
          A. Double-sided Masks: Equipment: paperboard, crayons, a variety of accessories, such as:
Colored feathers, glitter, toothpicks, steel wool, string, newspapers, scissors, glue, popsicle sticks.
Preparation: prepare simple masks from paper or cardboard; on one side the children design
and make their chosen imp, and on the other side the magical power that the imp becomes
          when it is tamed.
Perform a play in pairs or in a group, in which the children enact their imps, then turn the mask
over and enact the magical power. Encourage the children to 'get into character' using body
language, gestures and intonation. To this end they must say the phrase used by the imp or
talk the way the imp makes them talk when he takes over. For example, the self-diminishment
imp may say, "I did not do well," or "I will never succeed," the imp of anger may say, "Show
him! Don’t be a sucker! Hit him!"
          B. Sock Puppets: Equipment: Socks, sewing thread, glue, a variety of accessories such as:
colored feathers, sequins, toothpicks, and steel wool.
Preparation: make an imp by gluing or sewing different materials on one side of the sock and
make a magical force the same way on the other side. You can play with the sock puppet on
either side by turning your hand - on one side the imp saying his characteristic phrase, and on *See an example for this in the third volume of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and The
