Accountability
Accountability at Straive is organic in nature. It can be felt as the well-established individual
commitment, independent of role, level, and tenure. This individual commitment forms around
teams and empowers an organizational commitment to discover and deliver value.
Accountability means that each of us holds ourselves and our teams accountable for meeting
our commitments, delivering on decisions and accomplishing our goals. Accountability powers
our ability to make newer and bigger commitments, as it forges a trail of reliable deliveries.
Accountability in the organization entails holding employees and leaders responsible for
achieving goals and making decisions.
Key Attributes of Accountability
• We are driven by a common purpose that’s spelled out through our vision.
Accountability has an internal locus; it is born within our conscience and
grows with our progress – it cannot be externally enforced.
• We trust employees to bring their best to the organization, own their
actions and their results.
• We believe that everyone in the organization, irrespective of role,
level, tenure and status, is personally committed to our vision and
to achieve success.
• Meeting expectations is done; we now strive to exceed
expectations and we make sure to articulate our
desired results.
• We relentlessly strive to achieve our goals, but we
also make results visible and tangible for our teams
by empowering them through delegation.
• We create designs of empowerment and
delegate effectively for greater commitment
and to make results visible.
• We recognize achievements and
celebrate successes; and we also
learn from our failures.
We trust our employees to bring
their best to the organization and
take responsibility for their actions
and outcomes. Everyone in the
organization is personally dedicated
to our vision and achievement,
regardless of position, level, tenure, or status.
