FIAP INTERNAL REGULATION
1. DEFINITION AND USE OF THE EMBLEM AND NAME OF FIAP
1.1. The emblem of FIAP consists of a globe surrounded by the words ‘Scientia Ars
Lumen’ and crowned by the letters ‘FIAP’.
1.2. The coulour of the FIAP emblem is blue, code PANTONE 286C.
1.3. In its printed version, the emblem is always used with the full name ‘Federation
Internationale de l’Art Photographique’ in two layouts:
a) With the complete name to the right, in French at the top and in English below. The
font of the characters is Arial Narrow.
b) With a ring surrounding the emblem and the full name in French.
1.4. The emblem may however be used alone on a cover, provided that it is repeated inside
the publication in full text, as Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique.
1.5. Any other use (flags, pennants, etc.) must be subjected to the approval of the
Directory Board.
1.6. When used on stickers, badges or diplomas or any means other than supporting
documents and official emails, the emblem of FIAP may be in gold colour.
1.7. Examples of the use of the FIAP emblem are provided in Annex 1.
1.8. Except with the explicit authorization of the Directory Board, only FIAP has the right to
use printed matters (letterheads, diplomas, certificates, etc.) or objects (medals,
badges, pennants, ribbons, clothes, etc.) bearing the FIAP emblem.
1.9. The use of the FIAP emblem is reserved to Operational and Adhering Members,
organisers of fairs and events under the Patronage or the Auspices of FIAP and for
approved venues and magazines.
2. DEFINITION, RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE MEMBERS
2.1. Categories of Members and membership fees
a) Operational Members:
Operational Members pay a fee whose amount is determined by the Directory
Board, according to various criteria relating to the country concerned (GDP,
population, etc.). and the number of members.
There are 4 (four) categories of membership fees (A1, A2, A3 and A4).
