Instructional Methodology:

               The training will be held in‐person in Bulcher Hall at the South Carolina State University
               (SCSU). The facility is large enough to accommodate CDC social distancing guidelines.

               Training will use adult learning theory: 1) Direct instruction, 2) Demonstration and 3) Practice

               Assessment of Learning Methods:
                     Direct Observation
                     Formal testing (end-of-course quiz)
                     Course survey

               Criteria for Successful Completion:

                     Passing score on end-of-course quiz of 75% or better

               Prerequisites: None

               Thursday February 18

                                                          Day One

               Introduction and Icebreaker

                     Goal: Introduce participants and set the stage for the next day and a half. Cover the
                       overall learning objectives and create checklist by which the effectiveness of training can
                       be measured.
                     Validate participant expectations and establish a rapport with participants.

               Steps:

                     Introduce the primary speaker and members of the consulting/training team
                     Allow members of SC State to introduce themselves and identify their area of
                       responsibility.
                     Conduct icebreaker exercise {Name of icebreaker}
                     Cover DMAIC Process
