WELCOME & CONGRATULATIONS
Ozone PARK/Howard Beach/WOODHAVEN LIONS CLUB
This new club represents a coalition of the Ozone Park Residents’ Block Association, City-line Ozone Park
Civilian Patrol, Facebook Group Page, the Ozone Park Kiwanis, the Ozone Park Food Pantry and the Living
Word Christian Fellowship.
We were chartered in October 2020 and sponsored by the Richmond Hill South Ozone Park Lions Club. We
thank Lion Romeo Hitlall, President and his club for their mentorship, leadership and guidance that
encouraged and supported our efforts to provide humanitarian service and change the world, one person at a
time.
In the last year, we managed the Ozone Park Food Pantry which serves more than 1,000 families every
Saturday. We also serve our seniors with food boxes containing one month's supply of nutritious food.
During the last year, we have been able to dissolve the barriers of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation
and socio-economic status. Today, we represent a Specialty Lions Club with a multi-ethnic blend of Bengali,
Black, Caribbean, Chinese, Guyanese, Hispanic, South Asian, White, Catholic, Christian, Evangelical.
Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant, female, male, old, young, gay, and straight members. Lionism
accomplished what no other elected official could do for the last 30 years.
We invite you to join our very popular Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/ozoneparkvoice and

Review how partnerships support the needs in our community. We are proud to be part of this international
humanitarian network and we hope to make more inroads to help change the world.
