MEMBERSHIP BY THE NUMBERS:
− 1,960 members
− 77 clubs
− Welcome Queens United Lions Club and Queens Elite Lions Club!

FOCUS OF GMT:
1. To motivate clubs to recruit new members.
2. To promote Membership Satisfaction and facilitate 100% retention.
3. To promote positive experiences.
4. To organize new clubs in our district.
Responsibilities of the Club Membership Chairperson:
1. Serve on the club’s Board of Director for one year
2. Attend the District Governor’s Advisory Committee Meeting.
3. Develop a Goals and Action Plan for recruiting and retaining members.
4. Present to Board of Directors for approval then discuss with membership.
5. Provide effective orientation for new members .
6. Explain linkages between the local club, District, Multiple District and Lions Clubs International.
7. Host at least two Membership Growth events for the fiscal year.
Club Membership Reporting:
• SECRETARY MUST REPORT CLUB MEMBERSHIP ON FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH.

• Every club should work towards achieving the Club Excellence Award.
