BROOKLYN CROWNS HEIGHTS LIONS

On October 6, 2023, Brooklyn Crown Heights Lions served dinners to a total of 75 individuals residing at Urban
Strategies, Inc – Fannie Barnes Residence. This facility provides homeless families with a transitional shelter.

The management and staff also participated, providing an opportunity for fellowship and membership recruitment.
The residents and staff were very thankful and appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Brooklyn Crown Heights
Lions service. It must be noted that Lion Hermelene Thomas, a member of Crown Heights is employed at the
facility.
