At their 46th. Charter Celebration on October 15 ,
2022 Brooklyn Crown Heights Lions club presented 25
MJF to members who contributed to the success of a
Campaign 100 project.
The idea for this mission was the brainchild of Lion
Dorothy Sylvester who was appointed LCIF Chair in
2019 by then Club President, Mark DeVarel . Lion
Dorothy encouraged her Club to sign up to be a Model
Club because they were a model club for Campaign
Sight First 11 in 2005.
There was a general consensus from the membership
with a target goal of $27,000.00. The “dream” of one
dedicated Lion enhanced the service of Lions across the
globe who need assistance to improve the health and
well - being of those in need. These funds will
strengthen and support communities through
humanitarian service and provide grants that will impact
lives globally by encouraging peace and international
understanding.
Hearty Congratulations to all! So proud of my club!
