FROM August 9 to August 13 the renowned Thursday, August 13 2015 - ARUBA TRAVELLER

weightlifting athlete Mr. Hugo Themen has
been representing in the IWF World Master
Cup in Dallas, Texas USA.
More than 400 weightlifting athletes from
around the world are participating in this
championship.

Hugo Themen the Aruban athlete partici-
pated in the 77kg category for ages 55 to
59. 3 out of the 15 lifters in his category
were a part of his group.
Hugo Themen who gave it his all against
the United States athletes managed to lift
77kg in the snatch, 95kg in the clean jerk
amounting to a total of 172kg.

With this total weight Hugo won the gold
medal for Aruba.
Aruba Amateur Weightlifting Associa-
tion congratulates Mr. Hugo Themen
for achieving the gold medal for his
country. He has made Aruba extremely
proud.
