Let’s get some practice!
Read the following example of a dialogue between a librarian with a student. Complete the missing
sentences with the help of the context guideline given in each number.
Suleman : "Hi, I'm a graduating student and the faculty staff informed me to ask for two letters
from the library as the requirement for my graduation. I honestly don’t have much
information on that. Can you help me?
Ms. Retno : “Sure. I think they refer to two things. The first file you need would be Plagiarism-free
declaration for your graduation paper. And the other will be the Library Clearance
certificate.”
Suleman : “I see. So, how can get those two?”
Ms. Retno : "To get the plagiarism-free declaration, you need to fill out the plagiarism-check
request form. 1) ………………………………………….………… getting the declaration letter,
[informing the purpose of the form]
so please provide accurate and up-to-date information.”
Suleman : “Okay, so where can I get that?”
Ms. Retno : 2) "……………………………….…… at the research assistance corner, over there on the

left wing.”
Suleman : “But I see no one is there. Can I grab the form and bring it back here so you can help
me in case I need some to clarify?”
Ms. Retno : “Sure, no problem.”
