Supply Chain Manager (SCM) Responsibility:
1. Price File Updates
2. MSA Management
3. Supply Planning
4. Inventory Reporting
1. Price File Updates:
a. Method- Pricing in the ICS System is updated as price files are received or announced as available for
download from each vendor and performed by corporate administration, i.e., Supply Chain Manager. The
timing of release dates varies from vendor to vendor. Some are issued annually, quarterly, monthly or as
market conditions warrant. It is common for most vendors to provide pricing ‘supplements’ between
major price revisions and these are mostly monthly or quarterly. While a select few vendors offer
advance notice of 30 days, for the most part pricing is received at, or just prior to the effective date –
give or take a week. The ‘effective’ date for any part with factory pricing available can be quickly identified
in the FACTORY PRICING INFORMATION window in the upper right-hand corner of the INVENTORY ITEM
INQUIRY screen: Any pricing last updated more than 12 months ago should be brought to the immediate
attention of the Parts and Supply Chain Managers.
2. MSA Management

b. Parts Tracker Management
i. NES-WES manages all MSA kits through a “Parts Tracker”. The parts tracker contains all
important information regarding the parts portion of the contract. Such as: contract number,
location, engine information, contract hours information, interval kit schedule, annex, and
individual kit tabs.
ii. The parts tracker is the inbound and outbound supply chain tool.
