Residency and Creative Scheduling





                       uring my internal medicine residency, the strict schedule required being on call every other night. To manage
                  Dthe workload, we developed strategies and creative solutions. One amusing memory involves how we residents
                  coordinated our consultations to bypass the demands of a particularly exacting cardiologist who expected his residents to
                  be in hospital at all times. It was a time that required both resourcefulness and humour .
