When we fly simulated flights during the radio course, we do not assume that

Karup has our flight plan. But we assume that it has been sent, and in reality

Karup would be able to find it in the system.

2.4 Airport Information

2.4.1 The Flight Card

The map that we use for the flight is shown below in section.

There are lots of details on the map that only pilots know. When you have to be

a radio operator, it is important to know which rules apply everywhere on the

route and which frequencies you have to use.

All this can be found on flight charts or in the VFG (Visual Flight Guide):
