Air Law

                1.2.3.1 The Aviation Act

The "Aviation Act", known as Act No. 252 of June 10, 1960, introduced more

detailed and comprehensive regulations that combined previous provisions

and expanded the framework for safety, operations, and oversight.

New versions of the law are periodically released and amended. The latest
version is from 2021, which includes updates and changes to align with new

safety standards and international requirements. The law covers a range of

topics, including safety, the regulation of airlines, and issues related to airports.

                1.2.3.2 Civil Aviation Regulations (BL)

These regulations, often drafted by aviation authorities, provide more detailed

guidelines and rules to be followed in order to comply with the Aviation Act.

They can include technical standards for aircraft, requirements for

certificates/licenses and crew training, as well as procedures for inspection and

                maintenance.

BL’s (Bestemmelser for Civil Luftfart) are organized by a numbering system. For

example, BL 1.1 deals with aircraft maintenance regulations. BL 7.1 concerns

air traffic regulations. BL’s are organized by a numbering system. For example,

BL 1.1 deals with aircraft maintenance regulations. BL 7.1 concerns air traffic

                regulations.

On the Danish Transport Agency’s website, you can find all BLs.

Try to find BL 7-01 and look at section 4.1.8 to see how the system works.

                1.2.4 Aeronautical Information Dissemination

AIS (Aeronautical Information Service) is the dissemination of information and

instructions to aviation. This is handled by NAVIAIR (www.naviair.dk).

Next page you see the options available on NAVIAIR’s website.
