1.3.6 General Regulations
1.3.6.1 Seat belts
If the crew consists of 1 person, seat belts must be worn throughout the flight.
Seat belts with a waist strap are mandatory, and if shoulder harnesses are
available, they must also be used. If the crew consists of multiple members,
seat belts must be worn during takeoff and landing, and when ordered by the
aircraft commander.
1.3.6.2 Smoking
The flight manual indicates whether smoking on board is allowed. If permitted,
it is only allowed for seated persons. Smoking is prohibited during takeoff and
landing, and when the aircraft commander deems it necessary.
1.3.6.3 Oxygen
When flying at altitudes above 10,000 feet in non-pressurized aircraft, oxygen
equipment must be carried with the capacity to supply oxygen to:
a. All crew members and at least 10% of passengers for any period exceeding
30 minutes when the altitude is between 10,000 and 13,000 feet
(inclusive),
and
b. All crew members and passengers while the altitude is above 13,000 feet.
