2) The Altar of Burnt offering and Wash basin

Animals are burned at the altar of burnt offering. Hands

were laid upon the animals that were brought to the altar of
burnt offering.

“He shall bring the

bull to the entrance of
the Tent, put his hand

on its head, and kill it
there in the LORD’s

presence.” (Leviticus
4:4)

Do you know what it means to lay hands on the animals

that are to be burned up? The laying on of hands creates a
physical contact. This is done so that gifts will pass on to

another, but it is also performed so that one will be able to
transfer all of oneself to another. It means that the passing
