on of one’s sins by laying on of
hands is done by the sinner to the
animal, because a person cannot
be burned up at the altar of burnt
offering.
In essence, even though it is
the animal that is slain at the altar of burnt offering, it is the
person that dies through that animal.
Jesus is portrayed as the “Lamb” in the Bible. Jesus has
revealed that on his accord, he will become the offering. He
means to go on the top of altar of burnt offerings and be burnt
to death like an animal. He means to bear the sins of the
sinners.
Romans chapter 6 verse 23 says that the “Wages of sin is
death.” Sin must be paid in full. The result of paying in full is
death. A sinful man must be put to death. But Jesus means to
pay off the wages of sin for the sake of the sinners.
The altar of burnt offering represents the baptism of
the Holy Spirit. Believing Jesus as the savior, requires
the spiritual baptism first, then the baptism of the flesh.
The spiritual baptism represents the baptism of the Holy
Spirit, whereas baptism of the flesh is represented by the
wa-ter baptism. This order can be reversed. At times, the
