Companies Are Cutting
Health-Care Benefits
In addition to cutting pension plans, American companies are
also cutting other benefits previously promised to employees,
most notably healthcare benefits. Companies have discovered
that they can save enormous amounts of money by cutting or
reducing medical coverage for retirees.
