Laparoscopy-assisted cystoscopy
Cystoscopy performed with a rigid endoscope may be a procedure that
is performed by veterinarians specialised in internal medicine; however,
surgeons who perform cystoscopy find application of the technology
useful in minimising the approach to management of urinary calculi
that are too large or too numerous for other treatment modalities such
as laser lithotripsy, urohydropropulsion or traditional cystoscopy with
