Proprietary zip-up elasticated stockings, e.g. Pressage , are available for securing
hock and knee dressings in place. If one of the sizes fits your horse, these can be a great help.
A stable bandage is usually applied below it to prevent any swelling of the lower limb and to
ensure it does not slip down (Figure 3.26).
