Malevolent sarcoids (Figure 18.36)
Occasionally, fibroblastic sarcoids become very invasive and spread along the lymphatic
vessels and fascial planes to form multiple nodules and ulcerating fibroblastic masses. The
most common sites are the face and medial thigh. These are not amenable to treatment and
generally result in euthanasia.
