  Diamond knot: a decorative stopper knot, developed from the carrick bend (see page 30), which has
  been formed in the centre of a rope with a small bight. This small bight eventually forms the eye of the
  knot.



  Make an overhand loop and take the working end on to make a larger bight to the right, before laying
