All position vacancies shall be posted at Jack & Jill Children’s Center – Halmos Family Building
1315 West Broward Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 for five business days prior to listing in the
area newspapers, company website, team member email, team member bulletin board or other
advertising so current team members may have the opportunity to apply for the position.
This policy is not a guarantee that a current Team Member (or parent) will be
promoted/transferred or hired to fill the vacant position. Jack & Jill Children’s Center strives
to employ persons who are the best qualified to fill the needs of the Center in accordance with
the qualifications and essential job functions listed on the job descriptions.
Team members must have completed six months of satisfactory employment, as reflected by
the performance appraisal, prior to applying for a promotion/transfer to a vacant position within
the Center.
All applicants must complete a Center application, submit proof of qualifications, transcripts
and/or diploma with highest degree, employment forms relating to withholding taxes, health
insurance, and employment eligibility as dictated by federal law, and complete and/or submit
all other paperwork as required by Broward County Child Care Licensing Department’s and
Florida Department of Children and Families child care licensing regulations.
All advertisements or postings for job vacancies must be approved by the Chief Executive
Officer prior to distribution by anyone on the Leadership Team.
