Dove


                                                       Perhaps one of the easiest

                                                       mistakes to make is to develop

                                                       a communication that in its

                                                       fullest version transmits the

                                                       message that you wish to
                                                       achieve but, if adapted in a

                                                       snapshot may be perceived as


                 sending a different and in the case of the Dove advert, an

                 almost opposite effect.

                 In Dove’s case the error may be seen as one of omission
                 rather than commission. Its full ad painted a valid


                 narrative but when reduced the narrative and message
                 gets corrupted in translation.
