(John 8:36) – If the son makes a man free, they will be free to live for the truth (indeed). The
Son of God came to give the freed believers continuous access to His glorious presence.

John 8:37- I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me,
because my word hath no place in you.
John 8:38- I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that
which ye have seen with your father.

Lesson Notes:

(John 8:37-38) – Jesus-Messiah acknowledges the truth about their heritage as the seed of
Abraham. They have the heritage but without the word that gave birth to the Abraham’s faith.
The great patriarch of the Jews was a man that trusted and believed in the audible word of
God. Abraham had nothing but his confidence in the word of God to have hope for the son he
was promised.

The true descendants of Abraham cannot separate themselves from the word that gave birth to
the father of their faith. The Son of God declares again that He is speaking (the words) given to
Him by the Father (God actively present in Heaven) and God of the Jews in the same manner that
they believe they are immolating their father Abraham.
