JGFGM’s Learning Curve
(What Learning Curve?)
JGFGM has been working with Regents
School since its earliest years. We know,
understand, and honor your ideals and the
culture that underlies a Classical Christian
Education. We also know your campus,
including the site context, stylistic vocabulary,
massing, and materials that are now ingrained
in the Regents School experience.
Particularly as you embark on this major
project in a time of unique challenges and
uncertainties, JGFGM offers RSA deep
expertise and experience in school design
and the sure appreciation of the opportunities
that await these next important pages in your
history.
THE PATH AHEAD
Creating the Vision
To begin our collaboration with you, we
will want to understand your goals and
objectives for the overall project and for
each component (the Field House, the Fine
Arts Center, etc.). We will discuss how these
goals and objectives are meant to further

the mission of the Regents School. This is
a chance to “dream big,” an undertaking
that often opens up creative approaches not
previously imagined.
We will engage with you to better understand
the ways in which the project’s success will be
measured, to elicit any concerns or particular
challenges that might need to be overcome,
and to craft a path forward that is most likely
to achieve your vision.

We will discuss our shared and separate
responsibilities in bringing your vision to
realization within time (your schedule) and
space (your campus). We will remind our team
of the need to be good and wise stewards
of the school’s resources. We will agree that
working together as a team for a common
purpose will be the surest path to our goal.
