PROJECT APPROACH CONTINUED
PROJECT TEAM STRUCTURE Executive Committee
Your project, with several distinct building We propose that RSA establish an Executive

project approach that might mesh well with authority to provide overall direction to
the possibility of limited-sized gatherings for the Design Team in regard to all project

We suggest that an Executive Committee and determined by the phase of the project.
Working Groups, as described below, should JGFGM’s leadership team (Bob Galloway,
be given consideration. Joe Chronister, and Rebecca Richter) would
maintain close contact with this Committee
throughout the project.
Project-focused Working Groups
We propose that four (4) Working Groups
– comprised of both RSA stakeholders and
Design Team members – be established
and assigned to the following project scope
components:
• Athletic Field House (Working Group 1)
• Fine Arts Center (Working Group 2)
• New Café (Working Group 3)
• Existing Facility Enhancements/Campus
Site Improvements (Working Group 4)
While JGFGM’s leadership team and our
Programmer/Planner, Jim Woods, will
participate in all Working Groups, we will
assign one lead Project Architect to each
Working Group: David Polkinghorn will focus
on the Athletic Field House; Brian Cotsworth
will be responsible for the Fine Arts Center
and New Café; and Allison Stoos will handle
the Existing Facility Enhancements and
Campus Site Improvements.
This approach will provide both an overall
vision and direction to the full range of
projects from our leadership group and
the focused, day-to-day attention to detail
necessary to develop a comprehensive,
coordinated design for each component.
