TAXES AND SUPPORT
Prepare annually an Income and Expense budget which includes:
Reviewing and tabulating prior years expense amounts
Estimating expected new expense items
Providing and reviewing with the Association the proposed budget
Prepare Property Tax filing which includes:
Gathering necessary parcel tax information
Submitting payment to county within discount period
Appealing tax assessments as necessary
Provide Income Tax preparation which includes:
Securing the services of CPA for preparation of returns
Gathering necessary information for CPA
Providing for distribution of completed forms to Treasurer for signature
Provide cash management of interest bearing accounts which includes:
Maintaining the maximum balance
Transferring funds to operating accounts only as required
File Federal Tax notices for Association Vendors which includes:
Maintaining records of Vendor tax status and Federal identification number
Preparing, filing and distributing Form 1099 as necessary
