never complained. But most importantly, maama never expected anything in return
               from other people.

During his final weeks, the last thing that maama said to me was to be independent. He
said not to rely on anyone and learn everything yourself. At the time, I thought oh does
maama think that I rely on my parents for everything and not know much but after
hearing everyone talk about him, I realised that he taught himself all these different
skills and never relied on anyone to do anything for him. He could cook, clean, repair the
car, fix things in the house. Maama’s advice was just wanting the best for me. He showed
how proud he was by patting me on the back and smiling at me for everything I
               accomplished.

Thank you Maama for everything. We are forever grateful to have had you in our lives
and for always being there when we needed you without hesitation. We have learnt so
much from you and I hope you are now in a peaceful place.
               Thank you.

               In Loving Memory of Uncle

There are friends, there are family and then there are friends who become family.
Sivaraman Uncle was family. Words will never be able to explain how heartbroken we
are, especially appa who never cries but can't seem to hold back his tears for you. I
know appa never showed you enough, but you were important to him.

Appa and Sivaraman uncle have been friends since the 80’s back in Brunei. They met
through a mutual friend and had their little gang that used to hang around in his
               bachelor days.
Appa and amma say that he was always in a rush and always had to do something
“Enthenarem kudukudu endu odi kondu irupar”. Back in Brunei he would often make
trips to see them, he would drop off classic VCR tapes with movies, give akka chocolate,
ask how they were and leave. Moving to Australia did not change things, he was still the
same. He would always come to the garage just to see if appa was ok because he hadn't
seen him or heard from in a while. That’s the kind of man he was. When Appa opened
RMA motors in 2005 each New Year Sivaraman uncle’s car was the first car he serviced,
he knew his friend, the most kindhearted soul will bring blessings to his business.

Sivaraman uncle would never fail to think and always treat us like his own children and
family, taking us to our classes, waiting in the car until we were done, celebrating all our
wins and being proud of everything we achieved. Not only that, he was a walking
calendar he never forgot anyones birthdays or anniversary. At the crack of dawn there
will be a message or a phone call sending his love.

Sivaraman Uncle I promise we will all take care of Yamu, Mathu and Loji. You have
nothing to worry about. But I can't promise that your cars will be looked after as much
as you did. I will miss hearing you scream ‘Hello Vithya!’ in the background when I am
