"My canvas is fabric, my inspiration is life, and my joy is creating art, for all who see or
wear it, to enjoy. It must look good on the shelf/wall or on the body. I try to share a part
of myself with whomever wears/views my art, and the wearer/viewer becomes part of
my art." Edwards collects and recycles "stuff." She is self-taught in many areas, but has
studied with local, regional and internationally recognized artists. She combines her
knowledge of all these techniques in creating art quilts, garments/sculptures/jewelry and
mixed media that have been exhibited locally and nationally in juried shows.
Where our steps will take us? We never know, but must continue dancing through life,
going where we are led, searching, enjoying..."One day, one step at a time!" Printed
words tell our story...Threads connect us, each bead hand stitched...connecting us to
each other...and to life!
