Terry Smorch
Terry Smorch is a Process Development Senior Specialist at 3M. Terry has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering,
summa cum laude from University of Michigan. Terry joined 3M in 1986 and started working on
medical products in 1991; executing process development, scale-up and validation of numerous
high-impact drug/device products including 3M Tegaderm™ CHG I.V. Securement Dressings.

Zhicheng (George) Tian
Tian is currently a Specialist Chemist at 3M. Before joining 3M, Tian received his Ph.D. from
Penn State University in Polymer Science. Tian received his B.S. from Jilin University in China.

Kheng Vang
Kheng Vang is Hmong American and was born and raised in Wisconsin. She attended college
at UW-Madison and graduated with a B.S. in Natural Sciences with a major in Microbiology.
She worked at Becton Dickinson for three years and is currently working as a Microbiologist at
3M on vascular medical devices.

Ying Zhang
Ying is a Senior Product Development Specialist at 3M who focus on medical adhesive and
antimicrobial product development. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.
