Valley Chords Chorus

The Valley Chords had a wonderful summer season!

With the help of Jessie Caynon who continues to support us while we look for a director (anyone out
there want to come work with us in the beautiful state of Vermont?!) we had a successful summer
program with 6 community members joining us to learn some barbershop. We used a combination of
paid and free advertising and communicated with arts editors of our local newspaper who were very
helpful in putting out information about our Harmony at the Junction Event. Pictures and posts on
Facebook also were used. Our guests worked with us to learn 2 new songs and sang with us at the “Old
Timers Fair” in Etna, NH. We are thrilled that Ellie Anderson has decided to join us full time bringing
our tenor section up to 2 voices! We have a few other recurrent guests who we are hoping will continue
to sing with us as well.

With Jessie’s help and with the support of Laura Fraser who comes to listen and coach us, we are
looking forward to learning some new songs, refreshing our holiday repertoire and preparing for
competition next year. Hoping to see many of you at Fall Regional!
