Boston Skyline Chorus

What a moving experience for all! Many of us have been to Contest over the years but this year was truly a
special event. Months of hard work, determination, trust in our leaders and each other proved invaluable.
Having 7 brand new members on the stage and one cheering wildly in the audience was indescribable! The

energy was palpable throughout the road to Springfield. When you step back and think about the year in

review and how many things were tossed their way it is amazing that they hung in there! Coaches,

Costumes, Make Up, Words, Notes and Breaths, rehearsals, studio rehearsals, performance evaluations,
Retreat, Choreography, Checks, Checks and more Checks…it is such an enormous load to carry and yet
they did! Together we forged our way to Contest with one expectation – Sing the best that we can, execute
the plan! Seeing their faces as they received their “Golden Slippers” and new “Door Name Tags” from
their Big Sisters was priceless. Being awarded “Most Improved Chorus” was something that will never be
forgotten! Pure pride and joy!

In their own words they have captured what many of us were feeling with that added innocence and
disbelief at what we achieved together!

Our hearts are filled with love and Harmony! We are so proud of our Newbies and look forward to
our next journey together!
