In this case, the suture is performed using a simple clamp. Two stitches are placed at 6
o'clock and 12 o'clock positions, as shown in the second photograph, leaving a few
centimeters of thread to allow for proper spacing of the remaining stitches by applying
traction at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions.
This technique is also useful when clamps are not used. It allows the artery to be flipped,
enabling suturing of the deep surface first, followed by flipping it back to suture the
superficial plane.
Another technique involves starting with a deep stitch, leaving a sufficiently long thread to
facilitate the placement of the remaining stitches. This approach allows the posterior plane
to be sutured first, followed by the superficial plane.
