In this case, an interfascicular graft composed of two fascicles will bridge the area between
the neuroma and the proximal superficial radial nerve. This nerve was passed
subcutaneously to avoid reopening the entire scar.
A vein graft will also be harvested to create a venous sleeve protecting the suture. The lower
image illustrates the use of Mosquito forceps to widen the vein graft, which will be rinsed
with saline solution.
