LIFE!
Truth to Teach (Source)
This project explores the characteristics of life and seeks to discover how to live life
fully.
Genesis 1-2 Creation
John 1:3-4 ‘Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made
that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of
men.’
Colossians 1:16 ‘For by him all things were created, things in heaven and on
earth, visible and invisible….’
Acts 17:28 ‘In him we live and move and have our being.’
John 10:10 ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’
God is Life and he has expressed this through a variety of creative acts,
producing a host of different life forms, which relate together in an ordered
way.
Every form of life shows eight characteristics of ‘being alive’- growth,
reproduction, sensitivity, movement, mortality, nutrition, excretion and
respiration. Some or all of these can be understood in simple terms and where
possible through simple experiments.
Life is not simply a biological event for humans but a spiritual one too, so that
we can enjoy life to the full as part of the family of God.
Way to Work (Means)

course of a term.
