worksheet.
5. End by reviewing the lesson and praying that we will all remember to put on our
spiritual armour daily.
Learning for Life
The children will be more aware of the need for us to put on our spiritual armour daily to
protect us from the attacks of the enemy. They should have understood the significance of
the passage in Ephesians and its link to Roman armour.

To consider the positive and negative contributions made to Britain by the Romans.
Psalm 47:8 ‘God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.’
To appreciate God’s ultimate sovereignty over the nations.
Way to Work
1. Review previous lessons.
2. Let children take out an item (see worksheet) brought to Britain by the Romans out of
a box. Discuss the benefits of these.
3. Divide the children into small groups to list the positive and negative influences of the
Roman occupation of Britain.
