        4. Gather back to share and discuss these influences.

        5. Let various children read the following verses to show God’ sovereignty over the
               nations:-

                       Psalm 47:8 Psalm 99:2 Psalm 113:4 Revelation 7:9-10

God only allowed the Roman Empire to last for the time set by him.

        6. Let the children complete the worksheet. Some children may like to create a word-
search using the items on the sheet.

        Learning for Life

The children will have a greater understanding of God’s sovereignty over the nations of the
world. They will see that different people groups have positive and negative influence
wherever they are according to their strengths and weaknesses. It is hoped that the

children will have a greater desire to bring God’s rule and reign into their lives so that they
can make a positive contribution to society.

THE FALL OF THE EMPIRE AND THE CONTINUATION OF THE KINGDOM

        Truth to Teach

 To consider why the Empire collapsed but why the Kingdom continues.

Daniel 7:14b ‘…his kingdom is one that will not pass away.’

Revelation 11:15b ‘….he will reign for ever and ever.’

             Daniel’s vision
