My name is Miss Dunlop and this term the Infants have been learning about a project called
‘Changing World, Unchanging God’, and in this project we have been following the story of
The King’s School. We thought boys and girls in the future might be interested in some of
the information we’re going to put on this tape. We hope you do enjoy it.

Today is Tuesday 22 June 1999.
There are 118 pupils on the primary site and there are 91 on the Senior site and there are
209 in The King’s School altogether.
Mrs. Dobson teaches YR, and Miss Newman teaches Y1 and Miss Dunlop teaches Y2.
Miss Jones teaches Y3 and Y4, Mrs. Rapson teaches Y5 and Mr. Green teaches Y6.
Mr. Freeman is head of the primary site and the senior site. Miss Morgan is head of the
primary site, and Mrs. Barker and Miss Pim work in the office.
The King’s School is on two sites. We are on the primary site and the Seniors are renting a
building in the centre of Witney. But more important than the buildings are the pupils, and
so I’ve asked those in YR who do project to come and tell you who they are and where they
come from.
(Some of the children have an early start in the morning if they are to get to school on
time.)
x My name is ….and I live in Bicester. I get up at 7 o’clock in the morning and the bus
leaves at 7:45am.
x I’m … and I get up at 7:00 and the bus leaves at 8:00. I live in Chipping Norton.
x I’m …... I live in Botley and I get up at 7:00 and we leave at 8:10.
Some people of course live in Witney and in villages closer to the school.
Song:
Jesus Christ is the same
Yesterday, today, forever.
Jesus Christ is the same
And always will be.
