dads in the Church. This was a temporary building, meaning it was only for a short
time until a proper building could be built. When the wind blew, the huts shook!
7. The Tree - We spent about a year in the huts while our new school building was
being built next to us. There was lots of noise and mud, but it was exciting to see it
being built.
In April 1988 we moved into the new building with much rejoicing and thanksgiving
to God. Since then we have enjoyed the beautiful setting of the school and our
bright, clean classrooms.
8. It is a bit like the parable of the mustard seed. What began as a seed of an idea
has now grown into a small tree, and this small tree is still growing. Through it all,
God has been faithful, and his power has provided for us. I wonder what we should
do now. (Respond in praise and thanksgiving.)
Learning for Life (Fulfilment)
1. The children will be encouraged to put their trust in God as a Powerful Provider.
2. The children will know more about the origins of their school, and have a sense of
destiny about playing a part in God’s plans regarding it.
3. The children will realise that the Kingdom of God starts small, but is destined to
grow.
