4. Explain that the children will be given a chart to provide information about minerals. They
should begin by copying one of the above verses and writing a sentence or two about it

and its relevance to us today.

They should then take the information and write their own sentences in paragraphs with
appropriate headings. Diagrams and other details can be added as children refer to books
and the Internet for extra information.

5. Gather back to thank God for the minerals he has provided and pray for wisdom in the
way we use them.

Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

1. The children should have a sense of gratitude to God for his provision and hopefully a
desire to discover more spiritual treasure.

2. They should realise the responsibility we all have of stewarding God’s resources for the
common good not for selfish individual wealth.

3. They should gain factual knowledge about minerals which will be consolidated as they

write their own notes.
