             Truth to Teach (Source)

                  To learn more prepositions

                  To learn opposite prepositions

            Way to Work (Means)

                1. Review the previous lesson.

                2. Show the children a picture from a book and ask questions about it, eg

                          What is under the tree?
                          What is in the pond?
                          What is around the garden?
                          Who is on the bench?

                3. Talk about opposites, eg in and out, up and down. Give the children the
opportunity to give the opposites of the following:-

                           inside near left under

                4. Let the children consolidate their learning on prepositions by completing the
worksheet and/or writing answers to questions using prepositions based on a

                     picture.

            Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

                 1. The children should recognise and use position words (prepositions) in their
                     work.

                 2. They should be able to give the opposites of common prepositions.
