 Many people enjoy reading fantasy stories even if they could never happen

 To consider unbelievable fantasy stories

Way to Work (Means)

1. Review the previous lessons.

2. Read and discuss the story of ‘Flat Stanley’ by Jeff Brown (published by Mammoth,

ISBN 0-7497-0137-4)

3. Talk about whether the story could ever happen.

4. Let the children suggest other books they have read which could never happen.

5. Let the children complete the questions on the book.

6. End by thanking God for all the amazing books which are available for us to read.
Pray for discernment for the children as they select books, particularly in libraries.

Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

1. The children should appreciate the range of books available to us.

2. They should be increasingly trained in being discerning when selecting books.
