e) Notice how pupils eyes respond to differing amounts of light. Cover hands over the eyes
                   then remove them to observe.

        6. Record practical work in written or diagram form.

        7. Talk about our bodies having receptors that tell when changes happen, e.g. our skin is
sensitive to touching something hot. The brain decides what to do then sends messages back
               at speed.

        8. If time allows, let the children research wild and tame animals’ responses, e.g. marking
               territory, alarm signals, defending themselves.

        9. Gather to review the lesson. Talk about our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

          Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

Apart from learning factual information about our response to the environment, the children will
have had more experience in conducting and recording practical work.

They will have also been reminded of our need to remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
