To decide what human resources you need to plan and host the event outlined in
Activity 5.1, you will need to use a 3-step process:
1. Break the event down into separate tasks.
2. Decide how many people are needed to complete each task.
3. Decide which skills the people will need.

Physical resources
As well as knowing that you have enough people to host the event, you also need
to make sure that your club/federation has enough physical resources to host it.

Physical resources may include:
• venues — stadiums, fields, grandstands, courts, swimming pools, parking
space, etc.
• event-specific equipment — sporting equipment, uniforms, officiating
equipment, administrative equipment, catering equipment, trophies, etc.
