Financial resources
For an event to be successful, there must be enough financial resources to
implement all event activities. To know what the event will cost, you will need to
put an amount next to each of the areas in your event action plan. From this, you
will then need to develop an event budget.
The following example event budget will give you a rough guide for your planning:
Income Value
Entry fees
Players’ fees
Subsidies
Grants
Product sales (t-shirts, etc.)
Catering sales
Sponsorship cash
