                 Motor  Skills      Development
                 Show      proper  posture  and  hold  pencils  with  correct  pencil  grip.
                 Recognize,  name,      and  write  all  26  letters  of  alphabet,  both  uppercase  and
                 lowercase.
                 Use      different  forms  of  writing  during  play  (i.e.  make  a  shopping  list,  create  a
                 birthday      card  for  a  friend).
                 Write  short,  simple  sentences  such  as      "The  cat  ran  home."
                 Put      spacing  between  words.
                 Demonstrate  ability  to  write  legibly      and  neatly.
                 Spell  words  containing  digraphs  (i.e.  sh,      ch,  th,  ng).
                 Demonstrate  the  ability  to      self-correct.
